A great shame as it would have a super event for the community.
Paul Heery, Executive Headteacher, White Hills Park Federation Trust writes: The Bramcote College new build project is moving ahead rapidly. Nottinghamshire County Council are working in partnership with the White Hills Park Trust and have commissioned Arc Partnerships to draw up the detailed design.
Our vision is for a school that provides an outstanding quality of education and is also a source of pride and a valuable resource for our local community. We are very keen to hear views from a range of stakeholders, and to ensure that these views are considered while we are at the design stage. To that end, we are holding a community consultation event at the college on the evening of Tuesday 25th June, from 5-7. We will start by updating everyone on progress so far, before giving people the opportunity to share their views in group discussions.
John Spencer writes: This popular event will take place on Saturday 22 June and promises to be a very pleasant day out with good weather(!) as always, a good ramble with good company in a very attractive area of Nottinghamshire.
The pub, which is well-recommended, has now been confirmed and the walk has been sorted, along with of course, the good weather!
We meet at the pub at about 10.30 for coffee where we will choose from the menu. The walk will be approximately 4 miles and we should return at about 1 o’clock and our meal will be ready to be served at about 1.15.
For further information (and the name and location of the pub!), please contact John Spencer (Tel 0115 9258618) and for firm confirmation of your wish to join us, by Wednesday 19 June at the latest.
Looking forward to seeing you for what should be a very pleasant day.
